Dr. Yele Aluko is EY Americas Chief Medical Officer, and is a proven MD/MBA physician executive and corporate leader with more than twenty five years clinical and administrative leadership within the US healthcare provider space. He has astute understanding of strategies that develop competitive advantage for healthcare systems. He has demonstrated the ability to implement tactical execution of enabling processes that hold healthcare providers accountable for delivery of consumer value in the industry.

 

Representative Experience

As Chief Medical Officer he is focused on physician engagement, alignment, provider accountability for value delivery, and on assisting provider organizations in defining and maximizing physician enterprise value.

His consulting experiences have centered around improving physician engagement, designing physician enterprise governance models (including for JVs / JOAs), analyzing and prioritizing alignment models (e.g., full employment, PSA, co-management, contracted time, etc.), designing multi-faceted compensation structures, developing quality standards, and developing medical bylaws to advance hospital / health system goals. He has supported organizations as they transition to service line models of care delivery and recognizes the medical group’s impact on driving clinical quality initiatives.

Dr. Aluko is a leader within EY’s physician enterprise operations and clinical integration practice. His client engagements have included providing assistance in integrated performance optimization, cost containment and revenue growth strategies for the hospital and physician enterprise, clinical operations optimization, technology-aligned operational transformation, and value-driven care.

He is a former senior vice president and medical director at a southeast integrated healthcare system. His responsibilities included governance of an enterprise-wide clinical strategy overseeing program growth, clinical integration, physician alignment and accountability to develop the services line vision standardize the clinical, operational and business processes related to the physician enterprise within facilities across a multi-hospital facility regional healthcare system.
